All T-shirts are digitally printed on 100% cotton shirts using the latest technology, creating a fade-proof, crack and crease-free image that can be ironed and washed indefinitely. Traditionally silk-screened art utilizes ink that, in time, can peel off, become damaged when ironed, or warp around the picture due to humidity. Lastly, digital prints enable a range of colors and a level of detail not possible with screens. We initially tried to print this image through standard commercial silkscreen companies, and the unanimous answer was that the width of the black lines alone was too complex to handle. The choice to move to digital methods allowed us to add a depth of color in the red areas that we never would have attempted otherwise. |
